Tsuro is a game puzzle lovers will especially love! It has the feel of chess but is so much simpler and easier to play.

It’s a beautifully designed game with a very eastern zen feel, which we all need a little more of in our lives right now, am I right?!?

Players each choose one of the 8 dragon tokens and set off on a quest to create a path that keeps them on the game board while simultaneously trying to create a path to take their opponents off the board. It’s a battle between choice and destiny and who will find their path and stay on it.

Each player holds 3 tiles in their hand at a time, playing and drawing one tile each turn and moving their dragon to the end of the newly created path.

If at any point your token follows the path to the edge of the game board, you lose and your clever opponent wins.

It’s a game of forethought and strategy, logic and choices. It’s lots of fun to play, and the more opponents the better!

Tsuro is a game that can be thoroughly enjoyed by younger kids but play can get very intense with older, more mature and strategic players. If you like a mental challenge, puzzles, and/or chess, you will LOVE Tsuro!

Gameschool Subjects: Logic, Math

Using games to teach logic, math, and reasoning skills is the best way to do it! It’s easy and fun, and kids (and adults!) have no idea they’re giving their brain some much needed exercises in strategic and critical thinking and reasoning.

If you already have Tsuro and love it, be sure to check out the other versions!

Thanks to Calliope Games for sharing this fantastic game with us!!
