MY REVIEW
If I only had Born shoes in my closet I would be perfectly satisfied. What else could I possibly need? Born shoes are
- comfortable
- high quality
- fashionable
Those are all my requirements right there.
I most recently got to try out this pair of sandals called Jilly.
I would typically not go for a pair like this because there are so many contact points that could cause potential irritation and blistering. But I knew that because these shoes are 100% made from real leather I wouldn’t have to worry, and I was right.
I wear these sandals more often than any other pair and I’ve never had a sore spot or a blister. And I’ve done some intense walking. IKEA, people. Several times with these shoes on. Nothing but comfort. The footbed is also very light and airy and sooo comfortable.
I love the criss-crossy look and I also really like how they buckle. A little bit of a pain to put on, but I can walk or run or do whatever without my sandals falling off.
Born has come out with dozens of new shoes and boots for the next season, and there are some great new styles. There’s still plenty of summer, so don’t forget to check out all the leather sandals too!
