Isn’t Sudoku addicting? I guess I do have a bit of a compulsive nature about me… anyway, I just recently went through a series Sudoku phase playing every night before bed, while waiting in the car, and even during my work as a transcriber for the deaf (not while I was transcribing, of course)!
So Sudoku might be addicting, but I think it’s okay because it’s one of those mind games that will help you keep yourself sharp and sane. They say the best way to ward off forgetfulness and other old age ailments that involve losing it a little is to keep your mind working. Games like Sudoku, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, etc are great for that purpose.
I think doing a humongous Sudoku puzzle would be really fun. I guess you could just combine a bunch of smaller ones and do it on the floor of a really big room. I think that’s something we’ll do when our children get older. And have Sudoku races!
Maybe I think about Sudoku too much…maybe I really should get help…
(Until then, I enjoy websudoku.com. They’ve got some fun variations on the normal Sudoku version.)
