I got this great gadget called a Lil Rinser that works as a shampoo shield to keep water out of baby’s face and ears during hair washing, undoubtedly every kid’s least favorite part of bath time.
We tried it out on our son during his Sunday morning bath and it worked beautifully! I was thinking maybe it would be too big because his head is on the smaller side, but I was impressed with how tightly it fit him. There’s a little rubber lip on the part that goes on his forehead that keeps the Rinser in place and the water from getting in his face. I think this little invention is genius! I highly recommend it for little ones.
I remember not liking the water in my face, so I can sympathize. And bath time should be fun, so if kids know hair washing isn’t going to be a traumatic experience, bath time will go much more smoothly.
We got the Rinser just in time too, because the day after it came in the mail my husband split his forehead open playing basketball. We taped him up with butterfly bandages, which works nicely if the cut is straight and all the skin is still there. I think it will look just as good as if he had gotten stitches, for a fraction of the price – $5 for bandages and neosporin compared to several hundred for the ER. And my favorite part? It’s shaped like a lightning bolt!!! And my other favorite part? We had to shave his eyebrow to get the bandages to stick, so he only has 1 1/2 eyebrows!!!
Anyway, he has obviously needed to wash his hair since then while keeping his forehead dry so the bandages wouldn’t come off. He used the Lil Rinser on his adult sized head and it was, again, a perfect fit! It really is one size fits all.
The Lil Rinser is more multi purpose than I would have imagined! I think it’s a great baby bath product that can help make bath time happy for little ones!
AND I’m organizing a big giveaway to take place at the end of the month, and one lucky winner will get a Lil Rinser!!! Be sure to check back often so you don’t miss this awesome product.
