Many cities put on a live Nativity event. Check to see if that happens in your city and attend. Bring hot chocolate and wear warm clothes!
If you don’t have a live Nativity in your city, act it out with your family. You’ll need
- Mary
- Joseph
- Baby Jesus (a doll)
- A shepherd (take a look at my shepherd costume tutorial)
- A wise man (or woman)
- An angel
If you have more people than that in your family you could double up on shepherds and wise men or add a donkey and a camel. Kids love acting out the story – it might be better if you read it through first and then act it out with the narration.
