I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kohl’s. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I still have a million things to do before school starts, but shopping for school clothes is done! Elliot has plenty of short sleeved shirts left over from new summer clothes so he needed just a few new things for school: pants, dress shirts (for performances and church), a jacket, and some long-sleeved shirts for the looong winters here in Utah and I got it all at Kohl’s.
During this shopping trip, I noticed and appreciated how easy it is to find things within each department. I like that they organize their clothing by brand. We really like the Jumping Beans brand for short and long sleeved tees, and I love that they’re all in one place. The Sonoma jeans are another favorite, and they’re always in exactly the same spot, organized the same way, so I can grab what I need quickly and be done with it.
I usually avoid the more expensive brands, so I really spend all my shopping time in one small area and I love that.
As far as money saving madness goes I had a 15% discount PLUS a $10 off $25 for the kids’ apparel, so I saved a lot! And since I spent over $50 I got $10 back in Kohl’s cash to use when Elliot wears holes in his jeans and he needs new ones… And by that time he’ll probably have grown another 3 inches and will need a longer pair anyway!
While I was there shopping for Elliot’s back to school needs, I found some darling plaid shorts for Linus. And a much needed new bra for myself. There is nothing quite like a new bra with a little extra padding… I need a little help after nursing my three babies…TMI, sorry…
I’m once again thrilled with my shopping experience at Kohl’s because of the great prices, favorite brands, and one-stop convenience.
And as soon as I get my next discount coupon in the mail, I’ll be back for more!
