DVD Player

This 7″ portable DVD player is useful for so many things and in lots more places than just the car. With the headrest mounting kit included, it’s great for in the car, but we also love to use it in the house or wherever!

Included in the package are 2 sets of headphones (a lifesaver when you have 2 kids wanting to watch something different than Mom and Dad…) . You also get an AC adapter for at home and a car cabling kit for on the go. The battery is high capacity and lasts pretty long anyway, but if you do run out in the car, charging is simple.

And I think the 7″ size is perfect for use in a sedan like ours where the headrests aren’t very far away from a child’s face. We love this smaller size because it’s easier to transport and also easier to view in the car.

Small Wonder

Pocket video cams are one of my favorite things for Christmas this year. The quality of this RCA Small Wonder is great and it’s so much easier to use than a regular camcorder. It also is a camera and a camcorder in one, so you’re saving space (and money) in your purse or pocket.

It has 256MB of internal memory, which is really nice because you can actually use it without having a memory card. It takes up to an 8 GB memory card which will get you at least 4 hours of footage.

My favorite thing about the Small Wonder is the “flip out” feature. As you can see in the picture, the 1.5″ LCD screen flips out so you can easily video yourself. The Small Wonder lets me be in our videos much more.

Clock Radio with iPod Dock

This year I’m really trying to simplify my life and my house. Products like the RCA Clock Radio with iPod Dock are really helping. Instead of having a clock radio AND an iPod dock, I can have them both in one. This saves me space and money, which I love!

My favorite feature (besides the iPod dock that lets me wake up to whatever I want) is the double alarm clock function. Now my husband and I only really need one alarm clock! Or if you’re sleeping alone, you can set a backup in case you miss the first one.

The numbers are huge and really easy for blind eyes like mine to read in the middle of the night, and I love that they’re a soft green instead of that glaring red color. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s so much nicer to look at!

Another great gift this Christmas (especially for the college student in your life…).
