{The winner of the Crafter’s Companion is Susan Driggers, who said, “The majestic and romance embossing boards look really cool. I saw the UCC on HSN and it looks really intriguing. I’ve never seen it before.” Congratulations! Email me with your address (kelsey[at]vanillajoy[dot]com) to claim your prize.}
This craft giveaway is just getting warmed up this week – we had the Creative Memories shape maker giveaway on Monday, and today we have the Ultimate Crafter’s Companion. Next week things will get even more exciting since we’ll have a new giveaway announced every day with products from EK Success, Making Memories, Sizzix, Xyron, and Portrait Puzzle.
Remember that you can earn extra entries – check the bottom of this post for all the different ways to do that. The most important way you can earn an extra entry is to take this survey. I’m gathering information about my readers to help me get more and better sponsors for my next giveaway, which will have a kid/baby/toy theme, so please help!
And now for our second CRAFT GIVEAWAY prize!
REVIEW
The Ultimate Crafter’s Companion is an all-in-one craft center where you can quickly and easy make all different sized cards, envelopes, and enveloboxes, trim, and embellish/emboss.
What you get with the Crafter’s Companion is like a plastic notebook with 4 pages.
Page 1 has a scoreboard for making all different sizes of cards, with measurements for both 8.5 x 11 and 12 x 12 paper. This page also has an embossing board with 3 decorative borders.
Page 2 is a storage compartment for the paper cutter, ribbon tying posts, embossing tools, craft knife, and video tutorial DVD.
Page 3 is actually a 2 page spread/embossing board with 4 large designs that you can emboss,cut out, or use to make a popout card. It also has 4 more borders and measurements and score board for making all different sizes and shapes of boxes.
Page 4 has 5 more designs for embossing or cutting, 4 corner designs, and premade measurements for making envelopes of all shapes and sizes. It also has prespaced holes for the ribbon pegs – these little pegs make tying beautiful bows so easy.
The best thing about the Crafter’s Companion is that they’ve done all the thinking for you. Simply decide what you want to make, how big you want it to be, flip through the instruction booklet that comes with the Crafter’s Companion, read the simple instructions, and you’re done! There is no math involved, no complex geometry, no serious thinking at all, which is a relief because when you’re in your creative brain, your technical brain is out to lunch…at least mine is.
I’ve had so much fun using the Crafter’s Companion to make different kinds of cards that I have never before attempted and custom envelopes for those cards. There’s so much to do with this tool, I haven’t had time to explore it all. I can’t wait to tie pretty bows and make my own gift boxes!
